Pool removal in Orlando usually runs between $6,000 and $15,000, and the biggest factor is which method you choose: a full removal or a partial fill-in. A partial fill-in costs less and goes faster. A full removal costs more but leaves you a clean, fully usable lot with nothing buried underneath.
Partial Fill-In
With a partial fill-in, we break up the bottom of the pool so water can drain, knock down the top portion of the walls, then backfill and compact the space with clean fill. It is the faster and cheaper option, and it works well if you just want the pool gone and the yard back.
The trade-off is disclosure. In Florida, a filled-in pool generally has to be disclosed when you sell the home, because there is still material in the ground. It is not a problem, it just needs to be on the paperwork.
Full Removal
A full removal means we take out the entire pool — walls, floor, and all the debris hauled off site. Then we backfill with clean fill and compact it properly so the ground is stable and build-ready. It costs more, but the lot is a blank slate with nothing buried, which is the cleaner answer if you plan to build on it or sell soon.
