Demolition & Excavation
in Lake Mary, FL

Lake Mary is established subdivisions and well-kept lots — Heathrow, Timacuan, and the neighborhoods around them. Most of our work here is pool removals, concrete and driveway replacement prep, and additions that need an old slab or structure cleared first.

Working in Lake Mary

Newer homes and kept-up lots in Lake Mary

Lake Mary is one of the newer cities in Seminole County, with a median year built of 1997 according to the Census. Heathrow, Timacuan, Greenwood Lakes and Cardinal Oaks are established subdivisions with finished landscaping, so most of our work here happens inside a yard someone cares about. The jobs that come up most are pool removals, concrete and driveway tear-outs ahead of a replacement, and clearing an old slab or structure so an addition can go in. Because the lots are finished, access and protection matter as much as the demolition: we plan one path for the machines, watch for irrigation, and leave the ground graded and ready. Our Apopka yard is a short drive away, which makes tight schedules workable.

Lake Mary permits, exemptions and arbor rules

The City of Lake Mary Building Division is at 911 Wallace Court, 407-585-1441. A demolition permit there uses a notarized application with a $75 fee, follows the asbestos rules under Florida Statute 469 with the EPA notification form, and requires the contractor to confirm every utility is disconnected. Since July 1, 2026, Florida HB 803 has made some home projects permit exempt, but Lake Mary still wants a written exemption request, $35, approved by the Building Official before work starts. Living trees more than 15 feet from the house need a $30 arbor permit that runs 60 days. Demolition debris from Lake Mary jobs is hauled to the Seminole County Landfill in Geneva.

He was above and beyond helpful and even cleared the vacant property lines on both sides of our property! He was very professional and respectful of our property, he was on time and his prices were very reasonable for the work performed. We will definitely be using his services in the future for our driveway widening project and any other future projects. 6 stars, I highly recommend using Mintel Land Management.”
