Orange County
Every Orange County teardown we haul goes to the county landfill on Young Pine Road, the only county site that accepts demolition debris. The transfer stations turn it away, so we plan truck runs around that one gate.
Seminole County
Seminole County demolition loads go to the county landfill on Osceola Road in Geneva, and asbestos is accepted there only by appointment. That is why we book disposal before the first wall comes down in Sanford, Lake Mary or Oviedo.
Volusia County
Volusia County splits disposal between the West Volusia Transfer Station in DeLand and the Tomoka Landfill in Port Orange. Which one we use depends on whether the job sits on the west side or near the coast.
Lake County
Lake County takes demolition debris at one place, the Central Solid Waste Facility in Tavares. Clean concrete is charged less per ton than mixed debris, so we separate loads on Lake County jobs.
Putnam County
In Putnam County the Central Landfill on County Landfill Road in Palatka takes demolition debris. Inside Palatka city limits the city, not the county, issues the demolition permit.
